Its been somewhere around eighteen years since you left. And as much as I hate to admit it, every time i think I see you, even with all the hatred I have for you… I pray It’s you. You missed alot, you missed me growing up, you missed my first lost tooth, you missed my first teeball hit, you missed my first drumset, you missed my graduation, and you missed my prom. I love you, but you’re the man that has to face that every morning in the mirror. Maybe someday you and I can hold a conversation, you and I can become friends, I just, don’t know if i could ever honestly call you my “Dad”. The ships too far out of port for that… But i would like to know where i came from. Jimmy I miss you.
